Austin Healey 100-6 (the car affectionately known as primrose)

It was a typical Saturday in the shop.   Ken and I had just finished our cup of tea wondering what project we should tackle for the day.

Thank god the phone rang and we able to put everything on hold.  A gentleman called indicating that he had a Hunter Healey for sale.

Not sure what the car was we bought it sight unseen and then visited the gentleman and the car the next weekend to complete the deal.

The car turned out to be a very tired Austin Healey 100-6.  A price was negotiated and we headed  to the pub for lunch.

The seller picked up the lunch tab and we had a parts car.

The car was delivered as promised, the only visible problem that we could see was the car broke in two when it was moved.

Not a real problem the seller jammed it into his pick up and made two trips to Vancouver.    Not wanting to admit that the purchase was not a

wise investment we did what any male would do,  hid the car in the corner of the shop.
